HARDWARE
Nexis is a mobile wireless platform providing support for WLAN radios operating in the 802.11b/g/a/n, 900MHz and other licensed frequency bands up to 300Mbps. The Nexis devices can also be set up in a rack configuration providing multiple frequency with multiple radios.

The Nexis wireless platform designed specifically for the requirements of fleet and vehicle applications.

Incorporating GPS positioning, dual radios and NextG support.

SOFTWARE
PAMS is a solution used for personnel / asset monitoring which includes personnel safety features incorporating: Location tracking for personnel, equipment and other assets; Man-down detection, alarming, and notification; Hazardous area alerts; Proximity detection; Messaging and communications; Video, audio and image capture and surveillance; and server independent VoIP applications.

Greater Flexibility with No Centralised Server or Mesh Controller.

Nexis is not reliant on a central server, allowing greater flexibility for coverage of large or complex geographical areas as typically experienced in mine sites and industrial plants. Continuous coverage in difficult areas beyond the range of standard repeaters such as down in the pit or against a high wall.

Designed for Mobility.

Nexis was developed for mobile wireless applications rather than the campus / metropolitan application. The meshing algorithms are specifically designed for the complex and changing requirements of industrial sites.

Nexis easily fills a gap for the fixed environment. With the advanced design requirements for the complex mobile environment, fixed backhaul applications become far simpler.

3rd Generation Backhaul link.

The Nexis 3rd generation capabilities enable a high speed backhaul link in addition to the local mesh network functionality. The Nexis rack configuration provides multiple frequency operation along the backhaul with multiple radios.

No commitment to a proprietary standard.

Nexis is based upon open standards that are not in anyway proprietary. This allows for much simpler integration with existing and future equipment and tools.
